Being a female founder of a creative business sounds glamorous—until you're editing Eventbrite pages at midnight, replying to emails in full glam, and filming TikToks with your teen for your next campaign.

I run The Artful Bachelorette, but I’m also:

📌 HR - Hiring & firing (ugh, the worst)

📌 IT Support —except I’m getting worse at tech every day

📌 Customer Service (always smiling, even when I’m not)

📌 SEO Strategist

📌 Model Booker

📌Marketing, social media, AI prompt-whisperer

📌 TikTok trainee

And yes... I finally gave in and got on TikTok. My 13-year-old son helped me figure it out, bless him. Turns out it's perfect for my brand—so many brides, bachelorettes, and creative souls are already there. I was just late to the party (ironic, right?).

This is your reminder that being a founder means showing up messy and all in. If you’re also out here juggling a dozen roles and Googling how to fix your own website—same. Solidarity, friends.

Every founder I know wears all the hats. Especially those running women-led creative event businesses.
